Our Mission

Matthew 22:37- 40 teaches us that we are to "Love the Lord with all of our heart, with all of our soul and with all of our mind" and also that we are to "love our neighbor as ourselves..."

The mission statement of Compassion for Others (CFO Ministries) is to follow our Lord's command and to serve as the "neighbor" to others, especially to people in need. Our purpose and mission is to become the hands and feet of Christ by reaching out and searching for ways to enrich the quality of their lives. Our belief is that when we serve our fellow man with compassionate hearts then our efforts will show the love that Christ has shown for each of us and He will receive all of the honor.

 A note FROM OUR Director

     Inspiration

Since 2010, CFO Ministries has sought to demonstrate a servant's heart within our community. We have provided assistance to needy families and those facing difficult times. Some have been from the homeless community and others facing unemployment or an extreme hardship. By reaching out to those in need we are able to show the loving and caring hearts we have been called to display.

Do something for someone every day. Visit someone in the hospital, spend time listening to a widow tell you about her day, provide a meal or simply share a friendly smile with a stranger. These are all acts of compassion toward others. Touching the life of another person to lift his spirit is our purpose. Realize the positive impacts you can have on the lives of others and grow that compassion into even greater opportunities to serve.

Blessings,
